The Type of Music We PlayWe play a wide range of music, from film scores to pop songs, jazz pieces to classical, and pieces specially composed for wind bands or in exciting arrangements.
We love to perform our concerts to appreciative audiences, whether on bandstands, at formal evening concerts, on tour abroad or at charitable events. We are keen to continue to attract regular audience members, and to introduce as many people as we can to live music played by a large, diverse group. Many people have yet to experience the exciting sounds produced with live concert band music - with over 16 types of wind instrument, plus many different percussion instruments ranging from tiny whistles to huge timpani, the combinations of sounds can be extremely varied, and often surprising! Why not come to one of our concerts to experience it for yourself! Listen to UsWe usually record our formal concerts, and have CDs available for purchase from a few weeks afterwards. If you attended one of our concerts and would like a copy of the CD, or if you missed one and would like to hear how it went, please contact us for details and availability. See our Recordings page for some video clips of us performing.
