Formal concerts

Three times a year we perform at a concert, usually either in Mortimer or at Kennet Valley Free Church in Reading. The programmes include varied music, some classical pieces either written or arranged for concert band, as well as popular themes from films or musicals. Our summer concert for the past few years has been a family afternoon event in a marquee on Mortimer Fairground where we encourage our audience to bring a picnic. There is often a linked theme throughout the programme - for example, our Spring 2017 concert was titled 'Best of British'. In December we usually include seasonal items.

A popular attraction for most of our concerts are the selection of cakes available in the interval!

Tickets
Tickets can be bought in advance for £10 each, or on the door at £12 each. 
Children up to the age of 16 are free if accompanied by an adult.
