We were lucky enough to get use of one of the music rooms at Kennet School in Thatcham, Berkshire.
After a few hours of rehearsal the time came for a well earned break. First problem was where to sit - the best solution was let's use the floor in the other room where we stored all out instrument cases. Definitely informal, very social and of course we were jealous of what others had brought along as a packed lunch.
Time for some thoughtful moments to reflect on the labours of the day so far. Why is the lady leaning against the timpani having such a great smile, we are still wondering.
